Monday, 10 November 2014 The Sound of Horror

Two posts in less than a week?  Crazy, I know.

It’s truly with delight, and any number of other superlatives, that I point you in the direction of Pseudopod’s latest Flash on the Borderlands episode.  Therein lies a little tale of grief and loss entitled The Beachcomber by some strange fellow called Bonehill.

Huge, huge thanks to Shawn for picking this one up, to John Michnya for bringing the story to such vivid life with his fine narration, to Alasdair for the intro, and anyone else along the way who nudged this little tale to its current form.

Give it a listen here.

Thursday, 6 November 2014 Honored Indeed

Absolutely delighted to say that my story Vent made Ellen Datlow’s list of Honorable Mentions for the year. Vent took a while to find a home, but when it did it found a great one in Horror without Victims, and it’s safe to say I’m thrilled it’s found a place on Ellen’s list too.

Head on over to the always wonderful Horror d'oeuvres for my slice of flash fiction Enabled.  It's great to be featured by Dark Fuse again, so huge thanks to Shane for picking this one up.

Thursday, 13 March 2014 Make a Connection

My story Disconnect is now live at This is Horror as part of their Flash Fear feature.  Thanks to Michael Wilson for giving this downbeat tale a good home and to Nick Gucker for the great illustration.

Give it a thumbs up (or down) here.
